Loss of control is the most found reason for resisting outsourcing of any type. When question about what exactly is being controlled we find out that for many it is an ill defined process and by ‘letting someone else do it’ very real weaknesses are found. Go back to the basics and you will find all the control needed. Basics? Sure, basics like a properly defined Job Description (probably the ultimate cause of more internal company friction than any other).
